Barnhill MVP. Which particular template are you trying to use? Most of these templates are created by designers not really very familiar with Word and tend to use a lot of text boxes. They make poor or strange use of headers and footers and are generally more "fancy" than functional. Even experienced Word users can find them baffling, but if you're not a Word expert, you can be excused for being at sea!
